Postural and spinal screenings are tests that can help Dr. Scott detect underlying neuromusculoskeletal problems. These issues can affect joints, nerves, and even muscles. These screenings are important as they can help detect problems early and even prevent issues down the road.

​​​​​​​The screening process can help identify misalignments in your spine long before they become more serious and cause chronic pain.

A posture screening consists both a static analysis and dynamic analysis. The static analysis is used to assess your mobility by examining pelvic tilt, anterior pelvic tilt, elevation posture, and rotation posture.

A dynamic postural analysis assesses alignment issues during movement. Occasionally your body changes the way it moves to compensate for misalignment in the spine.

Dr. Scott will assess your results and make recommendations to help you learn to move properly and avoid injury in the future.
